GOGOGIGI -- working on Millennium Girl

Image
Recently updated GOGOGIGI, for the first time Kiki and Siren will be interacting with eachother! Sounds like the start of a beautiful friendship if you ask me . You can read the page in question right here Siren in particular is actually the hardest character for me to color. I loved designing him, and I love drawing him in illustrations, but his color palette actually is painful to apply over and over again throughout each page--  Still love the character though, and I'm looking forward to some of the scenes I get to draw with him in it! One of the earlier pages, I had a lot of fun drawing actually!

My Comic Inspirations

Ever since I was a little fella, I've been a huge fan of comics, and cartoons. While I've always liked interacting with long and deep stories , I actually have always got a ton out of comic strips and slapstick humor. Some of my biggest inspirations have ranged from Oggy and the Cockroaches, Geronimo Stilton , Bone and Calvin and Hobbes to John Wick and works from Studio Ghibli. I like a lot of different genres too, like reality shows, fantasy, and horror--I don't really have a single inspiration at all.  As I go through life, I no longer hesitate to work on stories that come to mind. I used to think things like "that's not a genre people like! " or "stick to what you know!" But in reality, life is just too damn short to let ideas go like that.

Welcome!

This is the first post to my blog! (Say hi!)
